Is air conditioning bad for the environment?

Every electrical appliance uses energy. This electrical energy has to be generated somewhere. When this energy comes from the power station, it contributes to higher CO2 emissions.

But……

The energy consumption of the current generation of air conditioners is lower than ever before. When we use the energy from our solar panels, the environmental impact is manageable.

Heating with air conditioning is more economical than ever. From 1 kW of electrical energy we get up to 4.7 kW of heat. This makes heating with an air conditioner much more economical than with the central heating system. A good way to use our energy sparingly.
