Mitsubishi floor-standing unit

In the attic of this home in Eindhoven, the sloping roofs made it impossible to fit a wall-mounted unit. That is why a Mitsubishi Heavy Industries floor-standing unit with a cooling capacity of 3.5 kW was chosen.

This floor-standing unit is suitable for both cooling and heating the attic. Thanks to an extra air outlet at the bottom, the user experiences extra comfort during heating: because warm air rises, we prefer to blow it into the room at a low level.

The installation is operated with an infrared remote control with various timer options. Thanks to the maximum pipe length of 15 metres, the outdoor unit could be placed in the back garden, on a bracket on the side of the shed – out of sight and out of anyone’s way.
