Single split or multi split?

A single split is the right choice if you want to cool or heat one room. If you want to cover several rooms, a Daikin multi split system is more efficient. With a multi split, several indoor units share one outdoor unit, which works out cheaper than several separate single split installations and means you only have one outdoor unit on the facade. A single split is the better choice if the rooms are far apart, or if you want to cool one room now and possibly expand later.

Which Daikin series are available as a single split?

All Daikin wall-mounted series at Aircobrabant are available as a single split system. The Sensira is the entry-level model if you want a reliable air conditioner at a sharp price. The Comfora offers WiFi as standard and improved airflow for a small extra cost. The Perfera is the top model: whisper quiet from 19 dB, energy label A+++ and Flash Streamer air purification. The Stylish and Emura combine the same top performance with a distinctive design. Besides wall-mounted units, floor-standing units, ceiling units and cassette units are also available as a single split.

Which capacity do you need?

As a rule of thumb, allow 0.03 to 0.04 kW per cubic metre of space. Daikin single split systems are available at Aircobrabant in 2 kW (up to approx. 15 m²), 2.5 kW (up to approx. 20 m²), 3.5 kW (up to approx. 35 m²) and 5 kW (up to approx. 50 m²).
