How many indoor units do you need?
The number of indoor units determines which system you need. If you want to cool two rooms, choose a 2 indoor units system. For three rooms, choose a 3 indoor units system, for four rooms a 4 indoor units system, and for five rooms a 5 indoor units system. The outdoor unit must have enough capacity for all the connected indoor units. Our advisers calculate the right configuration free of charge during the survey.
Which Daikin series can be combined in a multi split?
With a Daikin multi split system you can freely combine indoor units from the Daikin wall-mounted range. A Perfera in the bedroom, for example, combines well with a Comfora in the living room. Besides wall-mounted units, floor-standing units can also be combined if one room has large windows or sloping walls. Each indoor unit controls its own room independently and has its own remote control or app control via the Daikin Onecta app.
Multi split or separate single split systems?
In most cases a Daikin multi split is better value if you want to cool two or more rooms. You only need one outdoor unit, which reduces installation costs and looks neater on the facade. A Daikin single split is better if the rooms are far apart, which would make the pipe run of a multi split very long, or if you want to cool one room now and possibly expand later without having to replace the outdoor unit.
