Buy a Daikin ducted air conditioner
A Daikin ducted air conditioner is completely hidden within the structure of the building. The air is carried through a network of ducts to the rooms you want to cool or heat, and only the grilles are visible. It is the most discreet air conditioning solution for new builds and renovation projects where the system needs to be fully concealed. Aircobrabant supplies Daikin ducted units including professional installation by our own STEK-certified engineers.

Everything about Daikin ducted air conditioners
Want to know when a ducted unit is the right choice, or what the installation involves? Below we set out the most important points.
When should you choose a Daikin ducted unit?
A ducted unit is the best choice if the system needs to be completely invisible. Only the air outlet grilles are visible in the ceiling or wall, while the rest of the installation is hidden in the floor, wall or ceiling. That makes a ducted unit particularly suitable for new builds, major renovations, and luxury homes and offices where appearance is the top priority. One outdoor unit serves several rooms at once through the duct system, which also makes it efficient for larger buildings.
A ducted unit works best in new builds or major renovations where the structure is open. In existing buildings it is possible, but it requires more work on the structure. During the survey, our advisers assess whether a ducted unit is feasible in your situation.
Features of Daikin ducted air conditioners
A Daikin ducted unit is the only type of air conditioner that is completely invisible in the room. All other types, from wall-mounted units to cassette units, have a visible indoor unit. One ducted installation serves several rooms at once through the duct system, which makes it an efficient solution for larger homes or office buildings. Daikin ducted units are available in capacities from 3.4 to 14 kW and are therefore suitable for spaces of roughly 30 to 120 m². The downside is that the installation is more complex and more expensive than other types, and it is best included in a new build or renovation project.
Installation by Aircobrabant
Installing a Daikin ducted unit is the most complex air conditioning installation there is. The duct system has to be carefully designed and fitted for optimal air distribution and minimal noise. Aircobrabant handles the complete installation, from design and survey to fitting and commissioning. Our STEK-certified engineers are directly employed by us and have specific experience with ducted installations in homes and office buildings. You always get a fixed price in advance, including pipework and installation, with no surprises afterwards.
Frequently asked questions
Is a Daikin ducted unit suitable for existing buildings?
A ducted unit works best in new builds or major renovations where the structure is open. In existing buildings it is possible, but it requires more work on the structure. During the survey, our advisers assess whether a ducted unit is feasible in your situation and which alternative suits best if it is not.
How many rooms can a Daikin ducted unit serve?
That depends on the model you choose and the duct system. In principle, one ducted installation can serve several rooms through a branched duct system. During the survey, our advisers carry out a thorough calculation of the capacity required and the number of zones.
How much does a Daikin ducted unit cost including installation?
A ducted unit is more complex, and therefore more expensive, than a standard split unit installation. The price depends heavily on the building, the number of zones and the complexity of the duct system. After the survey, Aircobrabant draws up an itemised quote with a fixed price.
